Petrol, diesel price today, November 13, 2021: Petrol, diesel price remained under Rs 100 per liter in most of the parts of India. In Delhi, the petrol price stood at Rs 103.97 per liter. Punjab has recorded the highest cut in petrol price after the Central and the state government announced a reduction in central excise duty and VAT respectively. The petrol and diesel costs stayed unaltered on Saturday across different cities communities in the nation including the public capital Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, etc. Petrol, diesel value today: Petrol cost stayed unaltered for the 10th successive day on Saturday, November 13, across India. The equivalent was relevant at diesel costs as well, which likewise went through no change over the country for 10 straight days. Following the decision of the Government of India to reduce central excise duty on petrol and diesel by ₹5 and ₹10 respectively, 25 states and Union Territories have also undertaken a commensurate reduction of VAT on Petrol and Diesel so far to give relief to consumers, informed the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas on Friday. This move was trailed by a few states, who surged in before long to cut Value Added Tax on petroleum and diesel, making them considerably less expensive in the individual regions.

However, as per the ministry, 11 States and UTs which have not undertaken any reduction in VAT in Petrol and Diesel are Maharashtra, NCT of Delhi, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Jharkhand, Chattisgarh, and Rajasthan.

“In Lakshadweep, the UT government procures Kerala paid VAT Petrol and Diesel. Currently, there is Nil tax on Petrol and Diesel in the UT,” the ministry said.
