Britain reports 146 COVID-19 deaths in the last 24 hours

On Tuesday, Britain posted a corona virus-related deaths number. It stood at 146 deaths in the last 24 hours. However, the country keeps up the same number since March 12, said officials of Britain government.

On the other hand, Britain also reported 23,510 corona cases in the last 24 hours. As of the records, Corona deaths figure stood at 1,30,503. All these numbers died within the 28days of a first positive test.

According to the reports, the country brings a total of 61,17,540 Covid-19 cases. In the meantime, Adults in the country received two doses of the COVID vaccine.

As of the PHE, the COVID vaccines are highly effective against hospitalization from Delta variants in the country.

The officials of health experts said that the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine is effectively worked. Moreover, it works around 96% and the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine worked around 92% effectively as compared to hospitalization after two doses.

Currently, the Delta variant is the dominant strain in Britain. Further, around 60,000 deaths, 22 million infections, and 66,900 hospitalizations have been prevented by the vaccines.

Anyhow, it is the right time to get the vaccine to protect themselves and others from the Delta variant strains. According to the reports, nearly, 90% of the adults in the nation have had their first dose of vaccine.
