CBSE invites applications for the Single Girl Child Merit Scholarship Scheme:

CBSE has invited applications for the Single Girl Child Merit Scholarship Scheme and announced the renewal of online applications of ‘CBSE Merit Scholarship Scheme for Single Girl Child Scholarship X Pass awarded in 2020 (Renewal 2021)’. Candidates should note that they would be able to apply for the scholarship till January 17, 2022. Students who have passed their class 10 examination in the year 2020 with 60% or more marks from CBSE affiliated schools, would be able to apply for the scholarship.

The scholarship aims at supporting meritorious single girl students. Who is the only child of their parents to continue their further school education of classes 11 and 12. Be pursuing studies in classes 11 and 12 at any CBSE affiliated school whose tuition fee is not more than INR 1,500 per month. The selected girls will receive INR 500 per month for a maximum period of two years.

The amount will be transferred to the candidates via NEFT or ECS. Furthermore, the scholarship awarded will paid once to candidates under the scheme for a period of two years.
