India’s largest telecom operator Reliance Jio announced on Sunday, November 28 an increase in prepaid mobile tariff rates by 20%. Upholding the JIO’s promise of providing the best quality service. At the lowest price globally, Jio customers will continue to be the biggest beneficiaries. In its announcement of new unlimited plans that will be available from 1st December this year for its customers. following similar actions by competitors Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Idea (Vi) earlier this month. Reliance Jio has followed Airtel and Vodafone’s Idea to increase the prices of select prepaid plan offerings. A price hike of up to Rs. 480 has been introduced on its unlimited prepaid plan offerings. Reliance Jio also says that it has hiked prices to strengthen a ‘sustainable telecom industry’.
The move from Jio comes days after rivals Bharti Airtel and Vi expanded paid ahead of time duties by 20%-25%, referring. According to the most recent Telecom Regulatory Authority of India membership report. Jio has the most remote supporters with a 36.43% portion of the overall industry. As of September 2021, Jio is said to have 424.837 million remote supporters in India. This statement was made in July this year.
